Editorial Policy
This page exists so the standards behind everything else on the site are checkable rather than implied. It is also where the things this site does not have are stated plainly.
Who writes and reviews this site
Everything published here is written and reviewed by Joe Kiemtore, who owns and runs AyalaKi Services and performs the work the site describes. There is no outside content agency and no ghostwritten byline: the person named on a page is the person who wrote it, and the about page says what is and is not known about him.
If something on this site is wrong, say so. contact@ayalaki.com reaches the same person. Corrections are made to the page itself and the review date is updated.
How cost pages work
Cost content is the most-searched and most-abused category in this trade, so the rules here are specific.
- No AyalaKi pricing appears anywhere on this site. No rate, no “starting at” figure, no package price. The cost of this work is dominated by the cable path in your building, and a published number would be either useless or misleading.
- Every third-party figure is attributed and linked, with the source’s own publication date where it gives one. The sources block at the foot of each cost page lists what was taken from each source and when it was read.
- Where no citable figure exists, none is given. The page ships with the cost drivers explained and no numbers rather than an invented range. “Most installers charge around” without a source is a fabrication with a hedge in front of it.
- Dated sources are labeled as dated. Some useful industry benchmarks are over a decade old. Where one is used, the article’s date is stated in the body text, not hidden in a footnote.
Sourcing standards
Technical claims on this site are meant to be checkable. The preference order for sources is:
- Standards bodies and industry associations, such as IEEE, TIA, BICSI, ONVIF and the Wi-Fi Alliance.
- Platform and manufacturer documentation, such as a streaming platform’s own published encoder settings.
- Established cost-aggregation sites, clearly identified as such, for market price ranges.
- Trade publications with a named author, with the article date stated.
Outbound links open in a new tab, carry rel="noopener", and are never presented as an endorsement of AyalaKi by the site being linked. A specification that cannot be sourced is cut rather than softened.
What this site will not claim
AyalaKi Services is a new business. The following are not published here because they have not been established, and publishing them anyway would be the single fastest way to lose the trust this site is trying to earn:
Every one of those becomes publishable the moment there is something real behind it. Until then the absence is stated rather than papered over.
Photographs
Every photograph on this site is a licensed stock image chosen to show the kind of equipment or environment a page is about. None of them is a photograph of a AyalaKi installation, and every service page carries a visible note saying so. Alt text describes what the image shows rather than implying whose work it is.
A stock photograph presented as a company’s own work, its own team, or a real customer is the same category of deception as a fabricated review, which is why it is addressed here rather than left to good intentions.
Disclosure
This site runs no affiliate links, no sponsored content and no paid placements. Nothing linked from here pays a commission, and no manufacturer or supplier has any editorial input. If that ever changes, a full disclosure page will be added and the change stated here.
Review cadence
Each page carries a visible review date that matches the dateModified in its structured data. Dates are changed only when a page has genuinely been reviewed: a rolling freshness date that nobody has checked is itself a small lie.
The 4 guides currently in the resource library were all written and reviewed on their stated dates.
Corrections
If a figure here is out of date or a technical claim is wrong, the page gets corrected and its review date updated. Substantive corrections to a cost figure or a specification are noted on the page itself rather than made silently.
